The Neighbourhood Centre Dental Practice in Canford Heath was opened by Mid Dorset and North Poole MP Annette Brooke in April 2014. We are predominantly an NHS dentist, about 90 per cent of our services are NHS.
Our experienced team carry out all cosmetic and routine dental treatments for all ages. The range of services offered includes everything from restorative dentistry right the way through to facial cosmetic treatments!

If you have swelling, soreness or infection of the tissues supporting the teeth, you may have gingivitis or periodontal disease. Our expert team can treat this and provide solutions for improving gum health.
Restorative Dentistry

Teeth Whitening
Teeth can discolour for various reasons. Whitening is a process where the tooth discolouration is ‘whitened’ to a lighter shade. Both vital (i.e. live) and non-vital teeth (e.g. tooth with root removed) can be treated.

I have just joined the dental practice and found the staff very professional. The dentist and dental nurse were very helpful and friendly. Felt at ease and I received a lot of useful information about the condition of my teeth. My last dentist felt like I was going through a car wash so it’s nice to be treated as a patient not a customer.
One of best I’ve experienced
I've been with this dental practice for around 10 years and I have to say this is one of best I have ever experienced. I finally decided to have some wonky front teeth sorted here, and they did an absolutely amazing job. Definitely 5 stars!

The best dentist I have ever had treat me
I have always been a very nervous patient most of my previous treatments at other dentists I have had to be sedated but this dentist is the best dentist I have ever had treat me in my life. He is kind very patient, thorough he does a fantastic job and I am no longer a nervous patient thanks to this man 10/10.

What a lovely practice this is
The girls on reception help make coming to the Dentist a great experience they are both chatty and always very welcoming to me and my wife. The Dentist was also very kind and explained all our treatment options clearly. We then saw the hygienist last week and she is also brilliant, was very chatty which put me at ease during my clean. What a lovely practice this is.
I highly recommend this practice
After leaving a dentist who neglected issues I had, I am so happy to have found a dentist who is such a credit to her profession. The reception staff are really helpful too. My dentist and her dental nurse provided excellent care and made me feel so at ease. I highly recommend this practice. They also made the dentist experience an easy one for my daughter. She is only 2 and they were so patient with her and made sure she didn't feel scared. This meant a lot to me knowing future visits will be easy.

My dental experience was very positive mainly due to the friendly and relaxing manner of the dentist and her assistant. They really put me at ease both during my check up and when I had a filling. My dentist was very informative throughout with regards to treatment options.
